Bailey Fawkes is the Founder and Senior Financial Advisor of Fawkes Financial Consulting - and she has been doing financial services work, in one form or another, since she was sixteen years old.

What started as a teller position at a Des Moines bank became something she couldn't walk away from. Over the next nineteen years, Bailey worked her way through every layer of financial services, from relationship banking and licensed assistant roles, to investment officer, to lead financial advisor - building her expertise one client conversation at a time. Through it all, she earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Iowa while working full time, because that's who Bailey is: someone who does the work.

She founded Fawkes Financial Consulting because she believed her clients deserved advice that is fully independent, deeply personal, and built entirely around the life the client is actually living. Whether someone is approaching retirement after decades of hard work, navigating the financial complexity of a major life change, managing a career transition, or simply trying to understand where they stand - Bailey shows up the same way every time: prepared, present, and genuinely invested in the outcome.

Bailey has lived in Des Moines her entire life and has built her career serving the people in this community. She knows this city, she knows her clients, and she understands what it means to sit across the table from someone during one of the most important financial moments of their life because she has been there herself. That perspective shapes everything about how she works.

Bailey is registered with LPL Financial and is a Member of FINRA and SIPC. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She and her husband David are raising their family in the Des Moines metro area, the same community she has called home for her entire life.

David Fawkes is the Director of Business Development & Operations at Fawkes Financial Consulting - and the person working behind the scenes to make sure every client experience is exceptional from the very first interaction.

A software engineer by training and a builder by nature, David spent over a decade at the intersection of technology, product, and business - including time as an engineer and Product Manager at UnitedHealth Group, one of the largest companies in the world, where he helped build products and systems that served millions of Americans. He later brought that same discipline to the startup world, where he learned what it truly takes to build something from nothing - fast, intentionally, and without the safety net of an established brand.

Before tech, David spent years in real estate in Minnesota sitting across the table from families navigating one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. That experience gave him something no engineering role could: a deep understanding of what it feels like to be on the client side of a major financial moment.

When Bailey decided to build Fawkes Financial Consulting, David didn't hesitate. He pours into the business while still working a senior technology career to build this firm alongside her - because he believes in what she is creating and knows exactly what it takes to build it right.

His role is straightforward: build the systems, infrastructure, and growth strategy that allow Bailey to focus entirely on what she does best - serving clients. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from St. Cloud State University and brings 10+ years of cross-industry experience spanning enterprise technology, product management, real estate, and business development. He and Bailey are based in the Des Moines metro area, where they are building the firm and their family together.
