Form CRS — Client Relationship Summary
This page is a template pending review by Fawkes Financial Consulting's compliance department and LPL Financial before publication. It should be replaced with the firm's current, filed Form CRS and updated whenever that document is amended.
Item 1: Introduction
Fawkes Financial Consulting is a registered investment advisor. Securities are offered through LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC. Brokerage and investment advisory services and fees differ, and it is important for you to understand these differences. Free and simple tools are available for you to research firms and financial professionals at Investor.gov/CRS, which also provides educational materials about broker-dealers, investment advisers, and investing.
Item 2: Relationships and Services
We offer both brokerage and investment advisory services. Advisory services include ongoing monitoring of your account and portfolio, and we act in a fiduciary capacity when providing investment advice. Brokerage services are transaction-based and do not include ongoing monitoring unless specifically agreed. Account minimums, if any, and the scope of services available to you will be detailed in your advisory agreement.
Conversation starters: “Given my financial situation, should I choose an investment advisory service? Should I choose a brokerage service? Should I choose both types of services? Why or why not?” “How will you choose investments to recommend to me?” “What is your relevant experience, including your licenses, education, and other qualifications? What do these qualifications mean?”
Item 3: Fees, Costs, Conflicts, and Standard of Conduct
Advisory accounts are generally charged an asset-based fee, billed periodically, which means the more assets in your account, the more you will pay in fees — creating an incentive to increase assets in the account. Brokerage accounts may be charged transaction-based fees (commissions) at the time of each trade. Other fees, such as custodian fees, account maintenance fees, and fees related to specific investments (such as mutual fund expense ratios), may also apply. Full fee schedules are disclosed in your advisory agreement and account paperwork.
Conversation starters: “Help me understand how these fees and costs might affect my investments. If I give you $10,000 to invest, how much will go to fees and costs, and how much will be invested for me?”
Item 4: Disciplinary History
Visit Investor.gov/CRS for a free and simple search tool to research the firm and its financial professionals.
Conversation starter: “As a financial professional, do you have any disciplinary history? For what type of conduct?”
